Apply for an apartment in Espoo’s Suvela!

Application period begins for apartments in a building to be completed in Espoo’s Suvela neighbourhood at the end of September.

At the end of September, 59 new rental apartments for young adults will be completed at the address Kirstinharju 4 B. Most of the new apartments are studios, but there are also some two-room apartments.

  • One-room apartments: 31.5–33.50m2, rent some €495–540/mo
  • Two-room apartments: 44–47m2, rent some €670–720/mo

Water charge is €20 per month per person. Our apartments do not require a rental security deposit.

Every apartment has a dishwasher

Every apartment is fitted with a dishwasher and an induction stove. Tenants have free access to the building’s sauna, laundry room and the block’s shared club room that the tenants may reserve for personal use. See pictures from unfinished apartments here.

Great location near all the services

Kirstinharju 4 B is situated conveniently close to services and public transit routes. The closest grocery store is a five minute walk away. The bus stop is a few hundred metres away, and the nearest train Espoon keskus (Espoo centre) station is a 10 minute walk. The train can take you to Helsinki city centre in some 20 minutes.

The shopping centre Entresse is 750 metres away from the building. The shopping centre contains a wide variety of stores, restaurants, cafés as well as a library.

Suvela and central Espoo also offer great opportunities for a wide variety of sports and exercise. There is a gym and swimming pool just a kilometre away, for example.

Applying for an apartment

Applications are open to young adults aged 18–29.  Tenants are allowed to stay in the apartments until they turn 35 years of age. Please note that the entire block is non-smoking.

To apply for an apartment, fill out an application on the Youth Housing Association’s application system. Choose the address Kirstinharju 4 B.

We begin to process the applications immediately. Tenants are chosen on the basis of interviews. Those chosen for interviews will be notified separately. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to answer queries regarding the status of individual applications, so please wait for us to contact you. 

Applications are processed in order of arrival, but priority is given to applicants who are homeless, otherwise in urgent need of accommodation or moving into their first apartment.

Please note that we do not accept applications from current NAL tenants seeking to change apartments.
